Luxury Marble Bathroom Remodel
This Vinings townhome bathroom near Paces Ferry Road was a full floor-to-ceiling tile remodel. The white marble-look porcelain runs uninterrupted from the shower interior to the vanity wall, with all joints aligning horizontally across the room. In a townhome construction, the walls require additional attention to plumb because framed walls can have slight bows that become visible with large-format tile.
The shower interior used the same tile as the main bathroom walls, creating a seamless visual. A frameless glass partition separates the shower from the vanity area. All shower surfaces received liquid waterproofing membrane before tile was set. The gold fixtures and round backlit mirrors are owner-supplied; our scope was tile-only.
What We Did
- Demo, substrate repair, and plumb check on all walls.
- Applied waterproofing membrane to all shower surfaces.
- Set large-format tile with leveling clips, aligning horizontal joints room-wide.
- Grouted, cleaned haze, and sealed grout.
